Why can people not see many of photos im tagged in on facebook?

basically, i have a facebook, and when i see my friend looking on my facebook or press preview profile, they can only see some of my photos, and the same goes for wall posts, its looks like i have no activity on facebook, but i do? and it changes with different people? whats going on?
