Title old B/W 30's or 40's gothic type movie set in late 1800s in England of governess falling in love.?

School teacher/governess goes to England by boat, hired to be a new governess. She and pupil's father fall in love. Actors possibly Olivia Dehavilon or Katherine Heprin (can't spell) and Charles Boyer or Lawrence Olivier. In the end she winds up back in America in her classroom telling her love story to her young students. Very romantic & moving. I loved it!
